Cashflow Game - Individual Challenge

Yesterday I've attended Cashflow Challenge event in Central London (W2) held at great Lebanese restaurant Assaha Village. This time we watched a lesson by Robert T. Kiyosaki about Velocity of Money and the fact that Savers are Losers.

After the lesson and group discussion we played Cashflow with Individual Challenge to get out of the Rat Race within an hour. I was a banker on my table and I had Constantine, Nthabi and Allan on my table. I was the only one standing up at the table, so the energy wasn't very high. Since this was and Individual Challenge game, everyone was busy with their own strategy. To me it seemed that Constantine was struggling most of the game organizing his paperwork, but was still playing well. Nthabi had a strategy to get out of the Rat Race by buying as much property deals as possible. I was following a similar strategy, but at the same time decided to start up a business, when a Small Deal card came up. Everyone else wasn't interested, because Down Payment was equal to the Cost ($3000) and there was absolutely no Cashflow from this start up. However, as in real life, after some time (and some hard work in real life situations), a Market card came up saying that anyone who owns a business has done well and that it will now bring $250 Cashflow a month. So that proved to me that it was a wise decision to start up a business. Allan had a strategy of buying property deals and reducing his BAD Debt by repaying all his Car and College Loans as well as his Credit Card debts. In the past I have never thought that I could reduce my Total Expenses by repaying the debts (although I have applied this in real life) and help myself get on the Fast Track sooner. So this was a second lesson for me in this game.

No one got out of the Rat Race within an hour on our table for different reasons. But I believe that Connstantine and Allan were close to reach the goal. I think Connstantine was a bit slow with his papaerwork and therefore that distracted him. Allan had a sound strategy, but just didn't play fast enough. I was consumed with my Banker responsibility and therefore wasn't strongly focused on the main aim of the game, unfortunately.
